Who We Are

At Lotta Dogs Rescue, every saved life begins with a heartbreak.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue and sanctuary fighting for the dogs who have been forgotten—the ones wandering rural Texas backroads alone, abandoned by the people who were supposed to love them, or sitting silently in high‑kill shelters as their time runs out. These dogs come to us hungry, injured, frightened… and often on the brink of losing everything.

But with your help, they don’t have to.

We are funded entirely by donations. Your kindness is the only lifeline these dogs have. 

Your support keeps our street‑feeding program alive, rescues dogs from danger, and gives them warm beds, full bowls, lifesaving medical care, gentle healing, and—sometimes for the first time—the experience of being truly loved.

Some of our dogs heal and find the families they were always meant for. Others, whose trauma or medical conditions are too severe, stay with us as permanent sanctuary residents—protected, cherished, and embraced for the rest of their lives.

Here, no dog is forgotten. No dog is unwanted. Every dog is loved.
